After testing for one year in two individual skip compartments, our findings show that after 120,000 skip trips there was no visual wear on the UHMW lined guides. Final engineering reports conclude that this product will hold up to all the loads that could be imposed in a properly maintained mine shaft. UHMW Lined Shaft Guides allow your operation to never again change out your guide string. Test results show (technical details available on request) that UHMW has four times the wear resistance compared to Douglas Fir.
